Hi, I’m Sam, the creator of Minibeast Incursions.

I run one of the largest commercial butterfly farms in Australia, producing hundreds of beautiful monarch butterflies, chrysalis and caterpillars each week for our retail partner Butterfly Adventures.

I was the kid studying the behaviour of flies when I should have been paying more attention in class.  Since then, I did focus, studied environmental science and teaching, worked in science industry and specialised in primary science teaching.

I feel so very fortunate to have been able to turn my childhood interest for all things creepy crawly into a job where my team and I get to engage, educate and inspire the next generation.
